Use the NDIS eligibility checklist to see if you might be eligible for NDIS funding

You can contact the NDIS directly or apply online by filling out the NDIS access request form. Remember to include current relevant medical reports, assessments, care plans or letters from healthcare professionals. Once your application is submitted, the NDIA will review the information provided to determine your eligibility. You should be notified of the outcome within 21 days. If approved, you'll move on to creating your NDIS plan.

Work together with a NDIS planner to build a plan that fits your needs and goals. Remember to ask if your funding will be self managed, plan managed or NDIA managed.

Once your plan is active, you can use your funding to access services and support from NDIS-approved providers, therapists and community programs. Supports could include in home care, in home respite, community access or SDA funding.
