Coronavirus – Update

While the Government reports that new coronavirus (COVID-19) cases are dropping, it also requires us to maintain social distancing, thorough hygiene practices and home isolation to help maintain the current downward trend.

The Chief Health Officer has also released updated information about testing to ensure the right people are being tested when necessary. Please make yourself familiar with the latest recommendations. All patients being tested for COVID-19 should be isolated (at home or in hospital) until test results are available and should attend an emergency department if clinical deterioration occurs.
